passion for creation and design for jewelry began while attending the University of Rhode Island in the 1990s. Wanting to spread hope and cheer into an era marked by tough political and economic times, he created many inspirational jewelry pieces that he believed would lift the spirit and bring prosperity into the world, to anyone who wore the jewelry. This desire to inspire others led to many early successful products sold through Hallmark and American Greeting card stores. These early successes came full circle as they enabled Garold to give back to many charitable causes, with strong support of Cancer Research.
In 1996, Garold and his wife Katharine started a new jewelry design and manufacturing company called Friends Incorporated. Garold and Katharine designed and created several other international trends, including the Italian Charm phenomenon. Garold has been designing fashion jewelry for the past six years under his own brand, Friends Collection by Garold C. Miller for QVC. All of Garold’s designs can be found on his QVC Website. Friends Incorporated recently became an authorized Swarovski® dealer and will be launching a new line incorporating these beautiful crystals in Fall 2011. Over the years, Garold Miller has grown into an internationally sought after designer by designing and manufacturing for many famous name brands.
Garold’s entrepreneurial and creative talent was evident at very young age with the launch of several businesses. Garold also holds several U.S. patents for problem solving items. Garold is so grateful for the love and support of his family who inspire him everyday to pursue his passion of design and to bring beautiful fashion jewelry pieces to life.
